Yesterday I did laundry to get ready for our trip to the Bahamas today. There were two loads of towels left when I had to go to work and I asked Russ to make sure that he put the whites in the dryer and then do the towels. I didn't think I needed to explain that there was a reason why I separated all of the red towels into a pile and all of the white towels into a pile and that there were two loads sitting there-- not one. Then this morning i get up and I can't find the pile of the clean whites---they're still in the dryer and guess what is in the washing machine sitting there wet all night---the towels---mixed... but now they're pink and white---and since they sat there all night---they're staying pink and white!
When confronted, Russ said the thought it was okay to wash all of the towels together because the towels were older and had already been washed a few times--so there shouldn't have been any problems. Then I asked him why he didn't wash it on COLD COLD if the colors were mixed (since he had it on WARM--HOT). His response was "maybe I should stick to only being allowed to do the whites."
You know what? I'm VERY grateful that he's such an AMAZING cook--he really makes amazing food! And on my end, I learned a lesson....This 26, almost 27 year old (who should know better) should stay away from the laundry from now on! :)

Things I want (Russ Post)
So Chris Hulme my Brother in Law was asking around to get some advice on a style of wheels that he wants for his truck and Darren my uncle in law responded back that he should be getting babies instead of wheel. so I also want to see what people think that I should purchase. Maybe you can comment and let me know what you think would be the best purchase I personally like the last one.-Russ

TAGGED
Rachel tagged me a few days ago and I just saw it! :) Here are my answers to her tag:
10 years ago I was: 15 years old, just about to turn 16 (my birthday is in a few weeks). My parents were planning a beach party for my sweet 16... At Capo Beach. We had Little Caesars pizza and it started to rain a little at the same time the song “It’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to...” came onto the boombox. It was a fun day with friends. I have no clue how I remember those details... But I do! I also remember getting my license on my 16th birthday and my first joy-ride with Becca Myler (who was in town), and her “saving my life” when I wasn’t paying attention and almost ran into another car on Spartan....yeah, that would have been fun on my first day with my license. 10 years ago, I was also a sophomore at Mission Viejo High School.
5 things on my to do list today:
Go to work
Go to Ralph's and get groceries
Go to CVS and pick up my prescriptions
Package the March/April issue of Schooled and zip the file to the printers
Work on my endless to-do list
6 things I would do if I was a billionaire:
Pay for expert doctors and nutritionists to get my body back to normal
Sleep in every morning and sit outside with a good book every morning while eating breakfast
Travel the world for a few years without any obligations of coming back or any time restraints
Set up my “home” in a beautiful beach house somewhere in Orange County
Get Russ all of things he wants—like his EVO (but with that much money—he’ll probably want a Ferrari along with a few other things)
Set up a few charities for orphans and for animals
5 years ago I was: 20 years old (almost 21), I just got back from my study abroad in Paris and Russ and I were engaged on Valentine Day. I was living with some new roommates, above Rachel and Tina, and I was going to BYU full time. I was planning on teaching swim lessons during the summer while planning the wedding. For my birthday, the Taylors were going to meet me in St. George and we were going to stay there for the weekend, along with going to Las Vegas for the Paris buffet. Seriously, I don’t know how I remember these things....
3 bad habits:
Biting my nails
Being too detail-oriented
Keeping my purse messy—it makes Russ frustrated that my phone is in there right next to my keys
5 places I have lived:
Mission Viejo, CA
Provo/Orem, UT
Paris, France
San Antonio, TX
Lake Forest, CA
5 jobs I have had:
Aqua Resource Swim Instructor Trainer/Lifeguard
My Family Tales Public Relations Specialist
Good Neighbor Mortgage Executive Assistant
Schooled Magazine Managing Editor
National Merchant Center Executive Assistant
things most people don't know about me:
Over the last year, I’ve come to find that I really love Sushi—especially Tokyo Rolls—which I dream about in my sleep. I have to shave my toes because they are hairy. I have Lupus and wish Russ and I could start a family—but I’ve been told it will still be a few years. I already have a ton of gray hair and it’s the reason I keep putting highlights in. Sometimes I wish Russ and I could run away and leave everything behind and just go live in another country for a few years. I smile every time I drive with the top down in my Mini. I hate cooking. I wish I could clone Baxter and have 10 of him (If I’m cloning Baxter, I might as well clone Russ too—10 of him wouldn’t be so bad either!). I love reading chick-lit novels. I enjoy dipping popcorn in chocolate pudding.
I tag Amelia, Carrie, and Desiree!

TYLER & DESIREE UTAH VISIT
We stayed with Tyler and Desiree Harmor while in Utah. We had so much fun hanging out, eating Nazi-creme, watching The Other Boleyn Girl, playing video games, going out to eat (pictures are from the Brick Oven), shopping, and having Easter Brunch at Chuck-A-Rama (yes, you heard me right--Chuck-A-Rama... it was actually really good!). Here are some pics!

PEGASUS RUSS RETURNS WITH UPDATES
Brought back by popular demand with a few changes to the pencil art creation now famously known as "PEGASUS RUSS," please see the updated drawing with all of your suggestions. Let me know if you have anything else you think would fit the part-- this is definitely a work in progress.... :) P.S. click on the image and it'll come up big in a new screen! Oh, and the pegasus is not pregnant in this work of art--it's just abnormally large in the stomach area.

Napoleon Russ
For the March issue of Schooled Magazine, we got an exclusive interview with Jershua Hess, who is the screen writer for Napoleon Dynamite and Nacho Libre. The big problem was that we couldn't get professional photos of him... and since there was nothing online that was a high enough quality for the magazine---I did the only thing I could think of... I drew the guy... just like Napoleon Dynamite would. You'll have to check it out in the new March issue. Russ was SO SO SO jealous of my drawing... I decided I would surprise him with this personalized one with his very own PEGASUS! :) I hope he likes it.... this one is for you BABE! :) Can you think of any other "items" I should have added into the background?

Give Me Some Damn Strawberries (Russ Post)
(Russ Post) So we go to Costco for lunch and Debbie decides to get a Berry Sundae. And they totally jipped us and gave us like 3 strawberries in our sundae and like no sauce. So we started to eat the sundae and realized that we totally got jipped. So I went up and asked the local sales associate at the window if I could please get some more strawberries because I only got like two of them. The person said "Usually we fill them all the way up." And I said "Well this time there was only like two or three." So then she says she would have to ask her manager. So she took my sundae and walked all the way back to the kitchen to ask her manager if I could have some more strawberries. Then she went over to the berry station and then brought it back to me. And to my surprise, there were three "new" strawberries inside. I took it back Debbie and I ate my damn strawberries--all three of them. Next time I'm going to go back to the frozen section in Costco and get my own strawberries--or hope one of the server ladies are offering strawberry samples next time. Debbie and I thought this was funny because I mean really, like Costco is hurting for strawberries, and why couldn't the lady give me a normal amount of strawberries. This is something that would happen to Michael and Dwight.
These pictures were taken from a security cam in Costco's food court.

I HATE TAXES
It's 2 a.m. and I can't sleep because I started doing taxes around 10 p.m. tonight and I can't stop myself! I have to finish tonight! We've been procrastinating so long on doing our Schooled Magazine taxes that I finally decided it was going to get finished. I feel like I'm in one of those cartoons where you see all of those snapshots of numbers flying by the persons head as they sit there pounding away at the numbers. I'm even envisioning that I have my own narrator (like that that guy on the disney cartoons with the really low voice) and he's currently narrating how "this annual event takes place once a year and is only to make American's figure out that WAY WAY WAY too much money is going to go to the government." We'll actually I just can't believe how much money we spend and earn a month. I just calculated how much trade (bartered goods we got from businesses who couldn't pay all cash) we got last year alone and it's over the amount we spent to buy my Mini Cooper! And that's just the trade.... It's funny how thousands of dollars seem like so much, and then it slips away with the expenses of running the business. I'm amazed... Well this blogging break is now over... back to the taxes mess. Where is Jeni (my braineac sister accountant) when I need her to answer all of these QuickBook questions? Probably asleep like the rest of you.

This Goes Out To The Girls...
This week Valerie came into town and we had a girls night at Claim Jumper. It was so much fun to catch up with the girls. I love listening to their stories about their families. I also got to vent about how frustrated I've been with my medication and how my body has been changing so much (you can see how swollen/rounded my face has gotten because of this). I also got some one-on-one time with Valerie which was so much fun! We ended up talking until 2 a.m. in the morning! I love how these girls are so amazing I can pick up with them wherever we left off! :) I'm so glad that I have such great friends in my life! Thanks girls! :)
P.S. We missed you Kristyn and Carrie!!!

HUMMM...
So the first time I tried to post this I put Peep Show XXX on the title and I tried like 10x to post this post, but it wouldn't work! I just figured out that they probably don't let you post the word Peep and XXX in the same sentence! So I decided to put it in the text part, and it worked!
I got this photo from Rachel Trotter. With my love of Peeps (I'm seriously addicted) and in lieu of of Easter, I decided I couldn't help but post this cute picture. Thanks Rach!
